The Design Process
- The process and our relationship begins when you decide to set up a complimentary initial consultation with Artistic Gardens.
- The initial consultation takes place at your home or business, with our founder and landscape architect Peter Bailey. Here, Peter integrates your ideas
with his own professional expertise to determine the basic layout for the exterior design. He will also discuss the budget and various costs. You will be
presented with a company portfolio providing samples similar in scope to what you desire.
- If you elect to have Artistic Gardens create a personalized landscape plan, the initial meeting is followed by a tour of the property. This allows us to

The next step involves the creation of the landscaping plan catering to the individual home and your desires. Because of the 15-20 hours of work
involved in creating your plan, there is a minimal upfront cost involved, which we will discuss with you. The landscape design plan is a scaled drawing
which can include hardscape suggestions, plant types and locations, as well as pictures of mature plants. Click here to see an example of a landscape design plan.
- You will next receive a proposal to utilize the plan, complete with costs and a schedule.
- At this point in the design process, you can accept or suggest additional changes to the proposal. Upon acceptance of the proposal, implementation is
carried out by our team under the leadership of founder and Landscape Architect Peter Bailey.

- Concluding the process, we conduct a walk-through in which we give you detailed instructions regarding maintenance & care for your new garden.
